Power soccer, also known as powerchair football, is a competitive team sport for individuals with disabilities who use power wheelchairs. It is played on a regulation basketball court with two teams of four players each. The objective is to maneuver an oversized soccer ball into the opponent's goal using specially designed powerchairs. Players use their chairs to pass, dribble, and shoot the ball, showcasing skill and strategy. Power soccer provides opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in a physically demanding and exciting sport.
Our team's primary goal is to compete in the MK Battery USPSA Conference Cup tournament. This event is hosted annually in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is the largest tournament event in America. Our second goal is to eventually host a tournament similar to the MK Battery USPSA Conference Cup in the central United States, where teams can get all their games in for the main tournament.
